My Story

Meet the Founder — Fatima Gzouni

My journey with skincare began in 2017, during a difficult period when stress caused my skin to flare and become incredibly uncomfortable.

The products I was prescribed did not suit my skin, so I began researching cosmetic ingredients and learning more about how skincare formulas are created.

What began as curiosity gradually became a commitment to understanding formulation: what each ingredient contributes, how ingredients work together and how a product can be made safely and thoughtfully.

I spent years studying, experimenting and developing formulas before I ever sold a single product. Two of my earliest creations were my vanilla and mango whipped body butters. I initially made them for myself, then began sharing them with friends and colleagues at work.

When people returned asking for more jars, I realised that what I was creating could become something greater.

During lockdown, I finally gathered the confidence to begin selling on Etsy. That was the beginning of Skin Century Made With Love.

Today, I create both waterless and water-based skincare formulas in small batches. Every ingredient is selected for a purpose—not simply because it sounds appealing, but for the role it plays in the formula, the way the finished product feels and the experience it gives the person using it.

For me, nature and science are not opposites. They work alongside one another, guided by careful research, responsible formulation and a genuine love for creating.
