What it is
Jojoba oil is a liquid plant wax extracted from the seeds of the jojoba shrub (Simmondsia chinensis), which is native to the deserts of North America. Although commonly referred to as an oil, jojoba is technically a liquid wax ester, giving it unique properties that distinguish it from traditional vegetable oils.
